I must apologize as many of the photo options are currently not available. Check out the slideshow in the pull down menu...stop the slideshow if you see one you like....snip & save from there. Always glad to share.
The beginnings of this Jackson family are found in Yorkshire, England with the fifteen children of George Jackson and Jane Brown. Their son George married to Rebecca Botterill immigrated to Canada with their son John, his wife Hannah Gray and their children. Homesteading in Woolwich Township, Waterloo County, Ontario, they stopped off for a half dozen years or so before making the trek into Huron County where they settled in Morris Township. The Jackson Family has been very thoroughly researched by a cousin`s wife, Gloria Allen Jackson of Ridgetown, Ontario. In 1991, Gloria published her research entitled `ROOTS & BRANCHES`. She has documented numerous births, deaths, marriages...has gathered a fabulous collection of old photos and for her generous sharing of this material....we are truly grateful. The bulk of the Jackson family still reside in mid-western Ontario to this day...the next largest contingent call Saskatchewan their home.
